Postgraduate Students

We have a vibrant and expanding research community, led by world-class researchers. Our postgraduate students have access to an unrivalled range of courses in Psychology and many associated departments.

Masters Programmes

Masters degrees can be taken as a one-year stand-alone programme, or as the first year of a four-year Doctoral programme. In each case, students normally graduate with a MSc after one year of study. Masters programmes consist of two semesters of study and research training, followed by a major research dissertation.

Doctoral Programmes

Students normally complete the appropriate one-year MSc in preparation for a three-year course of study for a PhD.
