Up to 20 funded places are available in PPLS starting in 2012, including the Principal's Career Development Scholarships, and studentships from the Economic and Social Research Council, and the Centre for Cognitive Ageing and Cognitive Epidemiology.

Masters programmes in other areas of Psychology may be designed to individual needs in consultation with appropriate members of staff, though postgraduates working in the area of Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology or Parapsychology typically take a Masters in Psychological Research Methods.
MSc Dissertations in Psychology
The MSc Dissertations in Psychology 2011-12 document lists the academic staff available to supervise MSc dissertations, along with a brief statement of research interests, and a description of projects that each staff member is willing to supervise. The linked document is specifically for current taught MSc students, but it will also help prospective MSc students to get a sense of the kinds of projects that may be likely to be available in future years.
We have an extensive research infrastructure, including several eye trackers, an MRI simulator, human movement tracking systems, and laboratories for general experimentation, and access to advanced resources including molecular genetics laboratories and nearby (f)MRI imaging.

Psychology Postgraduates Affairs Group (PsyPAG)
All students studying psychology at postgraduate level in the UK are automatically members of PsyPAG, and as a group we have a lot to offer our members. Its aims are to provide support for postgraduate students in the UK, to act as a vehicle for communication between postgraduates, and to represent postgraduates within the British Psychological Society (BPS). It also fulfills the vital role of bringing together postgraduates from around the country.
